Flex2 Enhanced Flex - Other Amount

The Other Amount option is available in the Flex2 Enhanced Flex Form editor. It's located in the Pricing Configuration collapsible. You can expand the Pricing Configuration collapsible and enable the Other Amount field. Once enabled, you can configure it and it will appear on your form.


There are a few things to know about the Other Amount Field

  • It cannot be moved up and down in the sort order of buttons.
  • It will always appear as the first item in your Pricing Configuration.
  • It will always appear as the last "Button" on your form.
  • It works nicely with the Flex or Grid Button Layout you select.
  • It behaves functionally just like the Other Amount on the Donate2 Enhanced Donation Form.
  • It does not work with Stripe Products - since they are predefined products and amounts.
  • It does not work with Promo Codes.

Pricing Configuration

Other Amount cannot be moved up and down in the sort order of buttons and it will always appear as the first item in your Pricing Configuration.

Other Amount Field

  • Include Other Amount - Yes or No
  • Other Account Minimum - Enter a whole number
  • Other Amount Text - Enter the text you want displayed as the place holder text

How does the Other Amount Field work on the form?

This is how the Other Amount field will look on the form.
If I enter $5 and the minimum amount is set to $10.
The form will adjust itself and message the customer that there is a minimum amount and that the amount has been adjusted.
Once you enter a valid amount, the other buttons will grey back and will appear in activated.You can click on any of the buttons to activate them and remove the Other Amount entry.Also, you can delete the Other Amount entry and the form will reactivate the last active button.
