Tap to Pay Configuration

Overview

Tap to Pay lets patrons quickly make a donation right on your device using their contactless credit card or mobile wallet (Apple Pay / Google Pay).

Use this collapsible panel to enable the feature, set how patron contact info is collected, customize buttons and colors to match your brand, and configure a fallback QR code for devices that can't tap.

Name & Email Collection

Choose how you want to handle donor contact details during checkout.

Require Name & Email: Prompts the patron to enter their contact info before tapping. Ensures every donation is tied to a specific constituent record.

Allow Anonymous: Gives the patron a choice on screen—they can either enter their info for a personalized receipt or skip it to pay quickly.

Only Anonymous: Keeps the checkout lighting-fast. Skips contact collection entirely. The patron taps, picks whether they want a receipt, and walks away. (Note: Requires Anonymous Constituent Credentials configured in your Tessitura settings)
