Message Manager 2.0
We’ve released Message Manager 2.0—a complete reimagining of the Message Manager, our email receipt system. This update brings significant improvements to how you create, manage, and deploy automated emails.

What’s changed? A lot has changed. Some big, some small.
Big things….
New email editor
- Based on the same industry leading editor used by Prospect2.
- If you use Prospect2, you’ll be right at home.
- If you like the Message Manager Editor, you should be using Prospect2.
- See how that works :)

Emails are now linked to a Form Type
- A Donation email receipt is available for Donate2 Enhanced Donation Forms.
- A Membership email receipt is available for Flex2 Membership Forms.

Completely reimagined Listing Page
- Fast, functional, and fabulous (if we don’t say so ourselves).
- We will apply this same solution to other listing sections of the application.
- Search by Name.
- Listing View in 1, 2, or 3 column format.
- Expand and Collapse all items or individual items to hide/expose information that can be edited.
- Sort by form type - Donate2, Flex2, Global, or Legacy.
- Sort by - Newest, Oldest, A-Z, Z-A.

Easy editing in the Listing View

Form Type
Donate2 Enhanced Donation indicates the type of form that this message can be used on.

Title
The title can be edited in the Message Manager editor.

Sent
Indicates how many emails have been sent in the last 120 days.

Subject
The Subject must be edited in the Message Manager editor as it is embedded in the email template.

Reply To
1 reply to address can be entered and it must meet the standards of an email address to save.

BCC
You can add multiple BCC email addresses, hit return, tab out, or click anywhere to save.

Forms
The dropdown lists all the forms that use this particular message and provides a link directly to the form.

Clone
Duplicates the email message.

Delete
Deletes the email message after a series of confirmations.

Last updated
Indicates when and by whom the email message was last edited.

Edit
Takes you to the Message Manager Editor.

New editor VS Old editor…

New emails will be created in the new editor
The editor is so much easier to use and the resulting email is even better.

Old emails cannot be converted, opened, or edited in the new editor
All the more reason to switch over and use the new editor.

Old emails can be edited in the old editor
The old editor will be phased out sometime in early 2027.

You can clone your old emails and they still work in the old editor
If you’re using the original Flex2 Flex Forms and Stream2 Forms this is the option you’ll use.

The original Flex2 Flex Form is not supported in the new editor
You can clone and edit your existing Flex2 Flex emails.
The original Flex2 Flex Form will be phased out sometime in early 2027.
You should be using the Flex2 Enhanced Flex Form.

The Stream2 Form Type is not supported in the new editor
You can clone and edit your existing Stream2 emails as usual.
Small things….
The new editor has a modules library with every template piece saved and ready for use
While we have complete pre-built templates to choose from, every module is available for instant recall.

- Personal - Your own personal saved modules
- Organizational - Modules saved and available to all of your coworkers
- Pre-built - Modules curated by the 2Account team available for all customers
