Tessitura Gift Certificate Redemption
Our Gift Certificate Redemption capabilities allows patrons to redeem a Tessitura issued gift certificate. This feature is available on all Stream2 Forms.
You can configure the following areas of Gift Certificate Redemption per form:

Gift Certificate Redemption can be turned on or off at anytime. - Minimum Amount
When processing a transaction in Stripe, there is a minimum that can be charged of $0.50. You must choose a minimum amount to allow for processing a stripe transaction that is above the $0.50. The options are $1, $2, $3, $4, or $5. - Redeem Button Text
In the case where the Gift Certificate covers 100% of the total amount, no payment is needed. Instead, we present the patron with a button to process the order without entering a credit card. You can customize the language that is displayed on this button.
Below we have outlined a few different scenarios for around Gift Certificate Redemption, outlining both the patron experience and the backend details.
No Gift Certificate applied
The Gift Certificate field and Apply button are shown if Gift Certificate Redemption is enabled.
Apply Gift Certificate "Not enough funds"
This is a general message when we get a response from Tessitura that a valid Gift Certificate was not found.
This message means that the Gift Certificate code they entered cannot be used.
The Gift Certificate field on the form is cleared and reset.
Gift Certificate applied - Partial coverage
If funds are found on the Gift Certificate, they will be applied to the purchase and a new total will be displayed.
In the case of partial coverage there will be an amount that will be charged vis Stripe.
Gift Certificate applied - Full coverage
If funds are found on the Gift Certificate, they will be applied to the purchase and a new total will be displayed.
In the case of full coverage, there will be $0 total and the payment section is replaced with the required fields to put the patron and order in Tessitura. Once the First Name, Last Name, Email and Postal Code is entered, the button is enabled. The default text for the button is "Redeem Gift Certificate"
