Watch Now or Watch Later is available on the following Stream2 Brightcove experiences:
Stream2 Brightcove Gallery Level IPX (iframe)
Stream2 Brightcove Gallery Level Portal (SSO/SAML)
Stream2 Brightcove Video Level (Plugin)
Not ready to watch? No problem! When you enable Watch Now or Watch Later a buyer or gift recipient can choose when they want their rental viewing period to begin. They can either start the rental period immediately (Watch Now), or they can delay the start until they are ready (Watch Later). If the rental viewing period has not begun, each time they access the video through login or magic link, they will be prompted to either Watch Now or Watch Later.
Constituencies - Rolling or Fixed Date
Please keep in mind that this feature can be enabled when your constituencies dates are set to a Rolling action in your Stream2 Brightcove Form. Fixed Date access does not apply to Watch Now or Watch Later and the enablement of Watch Now or Watch Later will simply be ignored.
Watch Now or Watch Later with Gifting
If you have your form configured for a Rolling Constituency, Gifting is enabled, and you enable Watch Now or Watch Later functionality, gifted orders will not present the option for Watch Now or Watch later to the buyer, but will default to Watch Later mode. This is done so the gift recipient can choose the best time for their viewing period to start.

Presentation Manager
Within your Presentation Manager Presentation Editor, there is now a section in your Brightcove collapsible that allows you to add tokens within your Watch Now Text box. These tokens let you customize your messaging around your Watch Now, Watch Later option. A list of available Brightcove tokens that can be used in this feature can be viewed in the first half of this help article.
The Watch Now Text Color allows you to customize the color of your text within your message by hex code or specific RGB colors.
The Watch Now Button Text is an editable text box that allows you to customize the verbiage your patron sees on the button within the Watch Now option.
The Watch Now Button Color allows you to adjust the color of the Watch Now button to your choosing via a hex code or specific RGB colors.
The Watch Now Button Text Color allows you to adjust the color of the text within your Watch Now button. This can be done with a hex code or specific RGB colors.
Stream2 Form Brightcove Collapsible
Within your Brightcove collapsible in your form editor, there is now an option to enable the Watch Now or Watch Later function.
The Enable Watch Now or Watch Later is a drop down menu where you can elect to enable this function or to not. Enabling Watch Now, Watch Later activates the rest of the menu options.
The Force Watch Later Mode is date text box that allows you to type in a date and time or to select one from the clickable calendar on the right side of the text box. Setting this date and time works similarly to the Presale option and only allows your patrons to pre-purchase this time. Once the date and time has been reach, the Watch Now option will be active giving your patrons the choice to watch the item immediately or to choose the watch later option.
The Watch Now Label Text is an editable text box allowing you to customize the text immediately above the Watch Now / Watch Later buttons on your form. The default text in any new form with be "Select an option:"
The Watch Now Toggle Text and the Watch Later Toggle Text are also editable text boxes that allow you to customize the text on the respective toggle buttons. The default text for these options in any new form will be "Watch Now" and "Watch Later" respectively.
The Toggle Active Color and Toggle Inactive Color allow you to customize the color of each toggle option via a hex code or RGB specific colors. In the example above, when Watch Now is selected, the button color will be red and the Watch Later will be white. If you were to select Watch Later instead, that option will then be red and the Watch Now option will be white.
The Toggle Active Text Color and Toggle Inactive Text Color works the same as the toggle option above, just with your text! In the image example, when Watch Now is selected, the text will be white (to offset the red button color) and the Watch Later text will be red (to offset the white button color). Should you select Watch Later, the Watch Later text will then be white and the Watch Now text will be red.
The Watch Now Instructions and the Watch Later Instructions are both editable text boxes that allow you to adjust the text that is viewable under the buttons when either option is toggled. An example of this is below:
